Fandom Radio, Friday, March 19, 2026

Good morning, it's Steve Rogers again, with the news of yesterday. In classes, Mana learned about a 'brainwashing nature cult', Cinema Studies studied a swell romantic comedy, and Norse Studies learned about Ragnarok.

In town, Vi distracted Steph from the stupid people on the internet with coffee with sprinkles and whipped cream, Thor served wolf-themed drinks at the Devil's Nest, and Supper Club went to an Irish bar for food. That sounds really good. Maybe we'll have fish and chips for dinner tonight.

Have a great weekend, everyone!

WTFH - Fandom Radio [Thurs, March 19th]

Looks like it was another quiet Wednesday

Up at the School, The Long Con tried to sell us all a bridge, while in the Library, spring was sprung, and Caleb had some opinions on the weather.

Nothing much happened in the Dorms, while in Town, Adrian was involved in self-care at Pick Your Poison.

Fandom Radio, Wednesday 3/18

Good morning. The notes are much shorter this week than last.

*chittering*

No I don’t think leprechauns have anything to do with it. I think you had too much green rum and forgot to spy on everyone.

So. At the school there was corned beef and cabbage in Raiden’s Feeding Yourself 101 and soda bread. Which isn’t anything to do with soda that you drink but is delicious.

We have a note from the dorms and the porg is dancing around the station right now. Caleb was in his room, learning about an author and apparently none of what he learned was good.

And then we have just two notes from the town. Sairis did not sit in the chair that eats people at the Infinite Consortium even though he was tired. Good. And finally at Caritas Kitty had to deal with every drink being green and apparently this was not Tino’s fault, as she told me when I came in for a drink.

*chittering*

Yes I very much regret the drink.

That’s all I have for today from yesterday.

Fandom Radio, Tuesday, March 17th

What up, Fandom? It's me, ya girl Arden Finch, wishing a Happy St. Patrick's Day for those who celebrate and also patience and fortitude to anybody who owns or works at a bar tonight.

As for yesterday, things were quiet - possibly resting up for today? - which means a nice, easy day for notes for me! School saw people trying to pop balloons in Tasks, the Dorms saw nothing at all, probably because the squirrels were all prepping their livers for today, and Town did have a little hustle and bustle. Mayor Faden visited Sergeant Barnes to wish him a happy birthday. Happy belated birthday, sir! Dr. Isley was checking on the plants at Pick Your Poison and saw that they were all doing well, and Caleb was chatting with the vet about certain really, really racist authors at Furnado. Because we do talk about the orangutan and we do talk about what he named his cat, thank you very much. Professor Vess was playing with her cat at the Infinite Consortium and I can hear you snickering, squirrels, and I'm not the one you have to worry about melting you into goo or whatever, so keep laughing. And, at the Clinic, Professor James got a crababiner and...yeah, I've got nothing for that.

So yeah, that's it for the notes and that's it for ya girl, Arden Finch, so I'll talk at you next week, island. And until then, feel free to rock out with the Dropkick Murphys and Rocky Road to Dublin. Bye!

Fandom Clinic, Monday 3/16

Stark had coffees and cupcakes with him today when he arrived at the clinic. He'd baked yesterday just because he'd needed something to do.

"Here, take one of these!" A nurse said, handing him an item as.soon as he had a hand free.

"What is it?" Stark asked.

"It's a crababiner. Obviously."

"Obviously," Stark echoed, looking at the crab's tank curiously.

The clinic was open, the crab was maybe responsible for some odd accessories, and the alien was in

Fandom Radio, Saturday, March 14

Good morning, everyone! It's time for all the news the squirrels saw fit to report! I do hope they did well yesterday. Make this worth getting out of bed for, please. I wanted to sleep in.

At the school, Overcoming Obstacles was tasked with bathing Mr. Stark and Mr. Rogers's dogs, Combat 101 was introduced to the hammer, and Cupcakes of the World(s) watched an educational programme. In the town, Dr. Quinn worked on a window display at Needful Things, whilst at Miss Skywalker's warehouse, she and Dean Skywalker worked with a...holocron, whatever that is, and I'm sure I have pronounced it wrong. Additionally, Mr. Dooley visited Galactica Point, and thus end my notes, so I shall be off for a cup of tea. Farewell until next week, dear listeners!

Fandom Radio, Friday, March 13, 2026

Good morning, everyone, it's Steve Rogers with the news of yesterday. First off, the news of today--happy anniversary to my husband Tony.

*chittering*

No, we didn't get married on Friday the 13th. We got married on Saturday the 13th.

*dubious chittering*

I wasn't asking your opinion, pal. Let's get to classes. Norse Mythology finally got to Loki and my friend Bruce's assessment that his mind's a bag of cats remains correct. Sorry, Thor. Cinema Studies watched a relaxing film about tornados destroying everything and the idiots who chase them, and Liliana taught her class what happens when you mix red and white mana.

*chittering*

No, apparently it's not candy canes. In the library, the gremlins were weeding out old books

In town, the Supper Club was out for steaks at Outback, Thor was lost in thought at the Devil's Nest, and Steven was humming at the museum.

And that's everything! I'll see my students soon--the rest of you, have a good weekend.

WTFH - Fandom Radio [Thurs, March 12th]

Looks like everyone was still recovering from being social because I have just been handed a post-it.

Up at the School, The Long Con played pool, while Creative Writing watched a movie.

Otherwise, both the Dorms and Town were quiet.

Fandom Radio, Wednesday 3/11

So many notes today. I like it better when Wednesday mornings are short but…I suppose this will keep me busy for a bit.

So. Yesterday was much busier than usual but classes were mostly the same at the school. There were no teachers for Ethics and a movie for Basic Training.

Still nothing from the dorms but the porg helped with the party, it seems. That’s good. There is so much from the party and it makes him happy to be useful.

So, on to the town. Most things happened at Caritas but Sairis was selling charms at Liliana’s shop.

Everything else happened at Kitty’s Icebreaker Party which only had ice in the drinks. I think.

There were specials at the bar. Caleb, Flint, Henry, Henry, Arden, Adrian’s cat Boston (or is Adrian Boston’s person?), Jon, and Raiden all got drinks. Steve and Bucky discussed dinosaurs and the squirrels are snickering at that. Pam had a drink and talked to Rey about not playing the game and Adrian about swamps and groves. Liliana had a lovely dress which Jon noticed before discussing the trip. Sairis didn’t even make it into the back room before Harley wanted to know what squares he could fill.

And then there was the game where we all tried to fill our cards, with varying success.

So much icebreaking bingo )

Does anyone like the cold? Kitty, why did you put that on the card? Did you know nobody would ever be able to mark off that space?

Right. Well. That was a lot of notes and I’m going to get a coffee now. But perhaps we ought to do something similar sometime in the future.

I hope you all enjoy your Wednesdays.

What up, island? It's me, ya girl Arden Finch, reminding you not only about yesterday's news but also Ms. Pryde-Barton's party tonight at Caritas. I'll be there, who am I gonna see tonight?

But, before we get to tonight, let's talk about yesterday, starting with School. Squirrel! had us napping and, honestly, that's a great start to any school day. Then Beginning Gourmet Cooking Techniques brought us to a butcher shop to learn different cuts of meat. And, of course, Tasks were warned to not open their assignments? And there's something about milk and microwaves? The squirrels aren't giving a lot of detail, but uh. Don't nuke your milk, kids, a little tip from me.

No Dorms, I bet Lydia is making a mint selling y'all privacy charms, but in Town, there were new kittens born at Furnado - awww! - and a ball on display at Infinite Constortium. What kind of ball? Nobody knows? Okay, sure, I'm sorry I asked. The staff at the Clinic was dealing with the time shift the same way we all do: poorly.

But that's all I've got for you today, so good luck and have fun, Fandom! This is ya girl, Arden Finch, signing off and leaving you with a little music to get you in the party mood for tonight: Party Rock Anthem by LMFAO, Lauren Bennett, and GoonRock. Bye for now, Fandom!

Fandom Clinic, Monday 3/9

Stark had extra strong coffees for everyone at the clinic today on account of the time change. He, after all these years, did not understand the reasoning behind it.

"Extra caffeeine," he said, placing the drinks down. "In case it's needed." His, of course, also had excessive amounts of sugar.

"Everyone doing all right?"

The nurses mostly shrugged in acknowledgement. Stabby smacked his claws against the glass.

"He doesn't have a schedule to keep to and he still hates time changes," one nurse said.

The clinic was open but maybe kind of tired.

Fandom Radio- Monday, March 9

Morning, everybody. I don't know what time it is and it's still dark, so happy time change to us all.

Quiet day yesterday: Gregorith was dealing with a rogue butterfly at the museum, and Rey dropped Anakin's kids off after a trip with all of their limbs attached. Which is nothing I've asked a babysitter about but maybe I should.

That's all I've got. Have caffeine. Come to my party.

Fandom Radio, Sunday, March 7

Good morning, everyone! It is I, Miss Lydia Bennet, here once again with the news of yesterday...today! Let's see what the squirrels bothered to take notice of this week, shall we?

At the school, Overcoming Obstacles was a 'free run' and Combat 101 learned about hitting people with sticks, whilst Cupcakes of the World(s) learned of the cupcakes of France. The French do do sweets particularly well, I shall give them that. In the town, Mrs. Pryde-Barton was posting announcements for a party on Tuesday at Caritas--I shall expect to see you all there!--and at the Trooper Station, Detective Watts found a raccoon under arrest...and thus ends my notes, so I shall away until next week, dear listeners!
